Member of the Year Award – CARES Fish Preservation Program

Each CARES Member Club may wish to offer recognition with an annual CARES Member of the Year Award. This achievement is awarded to a CARES Member Club participant who excels in outstanding overall contributions to ensure a positive future for conservation priority fishes, openly shares knowledge with others, and altruistically assists fellow hobbyists in their CARES endeavors.

The recipient could be deserving of this award for CARES species maintained, longevity of maintenance, fish distributed to other hobbyists, or for other reasons that fit the above criteria, including a speaker, author, general hobbyist who generously assists others, or for field studies as all of these fulfill the CARES goal.
